Furthermore, Captain Mark has passed on his dedication to fishing to the next generation. His son, Captain Mark Elliott Jr., has been a part of the Gone Fishin' team since the tender age of 8. Upon turning 18, he officially joined his father to carry forward the legacy of exceptional fishing experiences. He specializes in various fishing techniques, such as deep sea/bottom fishing, bait casting, trolling fishing, jigging, drift boat fishing, heavy tackle, and light tackle.
Together, this father-son duo boasts an impressive 70 years of collective experience navigating the waters of Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. With their combined expertise and unwavering commitment, you can be confident that Capt. Mark and Capt. The Gone Fishin’ V is a 44' Henriques Sportfish with twin 700 HP Caterpillar engines and 600 gallons of fuel to provide the range and speed needed to find the fish. With an oversized 170-square-foot cockpit, transom door, cockpit helm, and room for hundreds of pounds of ice and fish, the Gone Fishin’ V is truly a fishing machine!
